The Role

The Global Middle Office (GMO) provides transaction management support, workflow coordination, rating desk services, and other broad operational support to Moody's Investors Service's Rating teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Support documents download process, including manual downloads, resolving issues, and participating in operational improvements discussions.
  2. Assist with new deal set-up, data capture, lifecycle data maintenance, data quality assurance, and tracking support for rating analysts within the designated Line of Business.
  3. Perform administrative tasks, such as data updates, prepares rating actions, bulk rating actions, publishing ratings, research, and press release templates, consistent with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  4. Monitor designated mailboxes to ensure timely and effective handling of internal and external client requests, prioritizing work to meet deadlines and time-sensitive requests.
  5. Facilitate resolution to technical issues and external inquiries with supervision.
  6. Build positive relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, interacting professionally and delivering high levels of service across high volumes of transactions.
  7. Raise conflicts, problems, database, and data inconsistencies, identifying and researching issues and discrepancies.
Requirements
  1. Undergraduate degree in a financial discipline, with some meaningful work experience and/or relevant internship experience preferred.
  2. Excellent attention to detail, ability to complete repetitive processes with no error, and strong client-focused orientation.
  3. Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, and ability to work with initiative and minimal supervision.
