Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at UST Global. As a key member of our analytics department, you will design and develop effective BI Analytics solutions, perform complex data analysis, and translate raw reporting data into easy-to-read formats for decision-makers.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing BI Analytics solutions that include complex reports and dashboards using MS Power BI. You will also perform complex data analysis in various datasets, ensuring data quality controls are in place.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop effective BI Analytics solutions that include complex reports and dashboards using MS Power BI.
  • Perform complex data analysis in various datasets and ensure data quality controls are in place.
  • Translate raw reporting data into easy-to-read formats for decision-makers, ensuring that data is presented in a simple layout for non-technical users.
  • Understand the planning business process and data models to conduct data investigation and address any data incident occurrences.
  • Possess proven experience with end-user reports specifically for Supply Chain Management performance and progress to goals evaluation.
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize, and analyze data.
  • Work with stakeholders across planning and strong partnership with IT to help define analytics strategy.
  • Work with operations teams to define new ways of measuring efficiency, effectiveness, and quality to deliver new insights to the business.
  • Respond timely to ad-hoc data requests from users by performing mid-level or complex data extracts, queries, creating data reports, and fixing identified data issues.
  • Assume a technical role in designing, developing, and supporting Power BI & SSAS Cubes solutions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio and create expressions, measures, MDX functions, KPIs, Perspectives, Partitions, Roles, and Relationships.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate components of reports/dashboards, evaluate, and improve existing Power BI systems and provide help to other team members.
  • Expertise in Data Analytics and Business Analysis, design of data models, decomposition of As-Is Business Processes, and re-engineering of data structure and data flow.
  • Perform ongoing research to explore new features, versions, and related technologies and provide recommendations to enhance our offerings.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on location and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of working experience in the following areas: Power BI (On-Premise and Cloud), Data validation, interpreting, and displaying data, Business Analyst with Supply Chain Management, especially in Planning area, and Data flows from one system to the other (source to target).

We also value candidates with experience in Analytics/Big-Data/Machine Learning/Data Science, Data systems and analytics, Python programming, machine learning techniques, structured and unstructured databases, SQL query and SSAS Cubes, SSAS Data models, ETL techniques, DAX, SQL DB, SQL Scripting, and Visual Studio, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and B2B Collaboration software, PowerPivot, Excel, RPA, and Creating calculated columns and measures using DAX.
