Responsibilities- Database Design and Implementation: Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user's specialized role.
- Data Distribution and Security: Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner. Ensure data security, privacy, and integrity through regular tests and evaluations.
- Performance Optimization: Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
- Proactive Support: Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.
- Policies and Procedures: Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Experience: Proven working experience as a Database Administrator, with 2 to 4 years of experience in similar roles.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL. Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
- Tools and Technologies: Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools. Familiarity with programming languages API.
- Problem Solving: Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Methodology: Experience working in SCRUM methodology.
- Accountability: Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and see through big challenges.
- Communication: Confident, takes ownership, willingness to get the job done. Excellent verbal communications and cross-group collaboration skills.
