The Equifax Collections Operations Expert is a critical role that requires a high level of expertise in collections management. In this position, you'll be responsible for executing operational processes to enable efficiencies in the collections team. Critical thinking and innovative problem-solving are necessary to ensure that processes are managed effectively and issues are resolved quickly.

You'll manage collections tasks not directly related to direct collections activities, such as account suspensions, cancellations, write-offs, clearing on-account credit balances, issues related to invoice uploads and purchase orders, and maintaining contact and other system data. You'll also follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure that work gets completed on a uniform and timely basis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage collections tasks not directly related to direct collections activities
  2. Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure efficient work completion
  3. Identify and participate in process improvement opportunities
