As a member of the Joby Finance team, you'll require critical thinking, superb analytical skills, flexibility, out-of-the-box thinking, and a voracious appetite for learning and improvement.
You'll need to have a firm grasp of accounting and financial concepts, and the desire to expand upon that knowledge.
As a primarily R&D-focused company, we operate in a high-paced environment, with constant changes and growing operations.
For this, you will need to have good time management skills and the ability to deliver results consistently and with adequate quality.

**Responsibilities**:
**What You Will Get to Do**
- Develop compelling reports to communicate the results of your analysis and key insights in a concise and accessible manner to non-finance personnel and the management team.
- Master our financial analysis software, database systems and BI tools; allowing you to propose and enable improvements in our workflows, our analysis and process times.
- Comprehensively understand the financial results, including researching underlying drivers, identifying trends and KPI's.
- Use the acquired knowledge in business operations and trends to precisely forecast the future of the company and assist in long term planning.
- Diagnose and communicate trends to department leads and management teams to make timely decisions.
- Support day-to-day reporting & analytic requests with accurate and timely information by using pre-set templates or developing ad hoc solutions.
- Partner with accounting to review and ensure high quality financial results, assisting in quarter-end and year-end financial audits.
- Constantly improve our processes and help make the business stronger by using problem solving skills and data management skills.
Required:
**What You Will Bring to the Table**
- 3+ years' experience in financial analysis or business systems.
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or data science (with an emphasis and experience in Finance).
- B2+ or higher English level.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Impeccable attention to detail
- A drive to overcome any barriers to get the job done.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- Intermediate or advance skills in Excel
- Administration experience with FP&A tools (Hyperion, OneStream, Vena) (Desirable)
- Significant experience with BI reporting tools (Desirable)
- Programming skills in Python and practical knowledge of SQL (Desirable)
