This position supports Corporate Accounting and will be responsible for general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts payable invoice posting and SAP maintenance and testing.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for certain aspects of the financial close and financial reporting process including but not limited to journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations
- Analyze and monitor intercompany transactions
- Assist with intercompany testing for system change requests
- Ensure accurate financial postings in accordance with US GAAP
- Focus on Sarbanes Oxley compliance as it relates to relevant responsibilities
- Assist with global SAP and Blackline master data set-up ensuring compliance within various processes and subsystems
- Record various fixed asset postings including acquisitions, dispositions, and transfers
- Reconcile prepaid account and record related monthly amortization entries
- Responsible for updating and monitoring standard cost for all purchased and manufactured materials (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Record vendor invoices for payment
- Manage vendor and internal customer inquiries
- Support internal and external audit inquiries
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and communicate those effectively
- Completes special projects on request
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Almost 8 years of accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter with good problem-solving and time management skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline focused
- Advanced knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing)
- SAP experience
