**Job Description**:
Project Associates participate in the achievement of a project's objectives as an active member of the project team.
The project associate centrally manages and facilitates project activities and data tracking to enhance project data quality and process consistency.
He/she supports the project manager workload by supporting the overall project management process.
This role in project management provides a great learning opportunity for those newer to the discipline looking for a career path in project management.
**What you will do**:

- Complete project documentation and facilitate project management processes on behalf of, and working with, project managers
- Participate in development of charter and management plan.
Recommend tradeoffs within projects and support project activities_._
- Participate in the development of and execute tasks within pre-defined project scope.
Alert manager of scope excursions.
- Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline.
Assist in the development of a detailed project Gantt chart.
- Participate in the development of the budget and identify the cost of upcoming project expenditures.
Aid in the management of project financials throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in the development of Quality Project Planning and Execution.
- Support the creation and management of a project risk and issue register.
Identify and analyze project risks and assist in developing a risk response plan.
- Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan.
- Participate in the development of a project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements.
- Support the creation of a Stakeholder register and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan.
- Participate in the development of a project communications management plan.
- Manage project management tools and supporting sites
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting of detailed project data
- Experience with project planning and scheduling
- Highly organized, possessing strong analytical abilities
