The Akamai Global Payroll team manages the full-cycle administration of our world-wide payroll and payroll tax reporting.
We are responsible to help guide our employees through all aspects of their financial journey at Akamai.
We are supported cross-functionally with teams from legal, compensation, accounting and equity.

As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for:

- Managing the end-to-end payroll process and reconciling all data with payroll providers to ensure consistency and accuracy for the USA and for LATAM countries
- Supporting internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll and time & attendance inquiries
- Identifying and implementing payroll process improvements and best practices to shape process excellence and reduce error risk
- Cooperating with external and internal auditors to assure proper documentation and compliance with all SOX controls
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation and impact on payroll in various countries
**Do what you love**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have solid professional experience in a global payroll department.
Solid experience and knowledge of USA payroll processing is required.
Knowledge of LATAM country payroll is a definite plus
- Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookup, formatting, etc.
PowerPivot experience a plus.
- Have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent English communication skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues globally.
- Possess excellent analytical skills, demonstrated ability to make sound decisions utilising all available information
