Introduction

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems.
You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.
You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Product Owner to understand and translate requirements into architecture for key solutions, from design to code level.
- Prioritizes activities across development and operations for high quality execution; Leads the delivery team to achieve work stream tasks/milestones.
- Structures, plans and leads client discovery and design sessions.
- Collaborates with other work stream technical leads to develop integrated solutions and resolve dependencies.
- Works closely Project Manager to provide progress updates and ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.
- Structures and leads prototype demos and collect feedback from Product Owner.
- Supports and executes release planning activities.
- Identifies, resolves and/or escalates infrastructure issues.
- Provide coaching and development guidance to delivery team members.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with existing or concurrent projects.
- Creates and manages solution related documentation, providing input and solution guidance to the technical lead for custom solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Experience managing a development team of 2-5 resources.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud custom development experience working in CSS, HTML, Java, and AMPscript.
- Experience migrating to Salesforce Marketing Cloud from other marketing automation platforms.
- Experience with data modeling in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- SQL database knowledge.
- Experience with data mapping to bring multiple client data sources into Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with integrating with the Salesforce platform (inbound/outbound) using the REST/SOAP APIs or Data Loader

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Previous professional services or consulting experience.
- MBA or similar advanced degree.
- SFMC E-Mail Specialist Certification.
- SFMC Administrator Certification.
- SFMC Consultant Certification.
- SFMC Developer Certification
