**Your Role and Responsibilities**
The Strategic Partnerships development team on Cloud Pak for Data integrates a variety of database products onto IBM's Cloud Pak platform.
Our team works with strategic technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, Operators with the Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM), as well as common open-source databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
We operate in a continuous-delivery, forward-moving model of development so concepts like CICD and automated & integrated testing are foundational.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to continually grow your skills in key technologies such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Golang and Jenkins, while working in a supportive, collaborative and fun environment.
Your tasks will include:
Creating test plans and executing manual and automated tests against various partner products including databases and data analysis software

Writing pipelines to build, package, deploy, and test Kubernetes operators using Jenkins and scripting languages such as Bash and Python

Planning and maintaining deployments of containerized software running on Kubernetes while incorporating security, network, and data encryption requirements and policies

You will build a solid understanding of the Cloud Pak product and become a key owner of database functionality in the platform.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 2-3 years of software testing experience
- Experience with software container technology - Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Ansible and Jenkins
- Experience with relational and non relational databases
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across squads in a fast-paced development environment

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 5 years of software testing experience
- Experience with software container technology - Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Ansible and Jenkins
- Experience with relational and non relational databases
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across squads in a fast-paced development environment
