The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi's financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.The overall objective is to apply analytical thinking, knowledge of data analysis and methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi's alignment with forecasted performance.

Responsibilities:
Administration of TM1 Apps Cognos, including firmwide communications related to the system requirements for each forecasting cycle, coordination and definition of the forecasting calendar, coordination with Cognos technology team on system changes/enhancements and data copy overs
Ad-hoc analysis and data requests from different stakeholders, mainly Senior Management, Strategy, Investor Relations, EDS FP&A and others
Develop and coordinate the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes and review results against plans monthly including annual budget planning and monthly estimate process
Conduct various ad hoc analyses and strategically address issues that are complementary to the regular Planning and Analysis processes
Support to the delivery of Corporate Expense decks for all forecasting cycles and reviews (e.g., QMMF, Operating Plan, Flash/Earnings, EMQM, QBR, etc.)
Assistance, coordination and consolidation of externally reported requests (OCC, Accounting Policy, External Auditors, etc.)
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience working with a variety of financial platforms
Experience in FP&A preferred
Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoints skills preferred
Demonstrated analytical skills
Ability to work within a team and independently when necessary
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Advanced English Skills Required

Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
