As the IT Operations Centre (ITOC) Transition Manager, you will manage all Greenlake Managed Solution transitions in AME.
As an experienced operations project manager, you will work with the customers, the HPE GMS sales team and prepare a project plan in line with the transition requirements.
You will liaise with the ITOC team to implement the technical solutions, ITSM processes, and transition the project successfully to the operations phase, and lead the virtual team assigned to the project.
Leads internal project to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget, and quality expectations, through planning, controlling, and managing.
Manages corporate and third-party vendor efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to internal problems and issues
**Primary Responsability**
- Lead and Manage Transition Projects for the IT Operations Centre
- Kick-off transition projects with new and existing Greenlake Management Services customers
- Coordinate all the activities for assigned GMS Transition Projects internally and externally with all the stakeholders for the project
- Produce regular status reports for Transition Projects and lead internal project steer meetings
- Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end users to avoid or reduce escalations from assigned projects
- Provide expert direction and guidance to process improvements and establish policies.
- Represent the company in a face-to-face customer location visit, industry conference/trade show, vendor meeting, etc.
- Lead and provide expertise to functional project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- Act as a mentor and guide other employees.
**Secondary Responsibility**
- PoC for process creation
- Attend operational meetings
**Knowledge and Skills**
- PMP or Prince 2 certified with extensive experience in a similar project management role
- Proven success in delivering complex operational/transition projects.
- ITIL knowledge and experience, running workshops and managing a virtual project team.
- Experience providing direction and guidance to project and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to articulate, recommend and explain resolutions to clients.
- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key Services' operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology or equivalent experience required.
- Project management planning experience - Microsoft Planning.
