**Job Summary**
Edwards is expanding its cyber security team and looking for an experienced cloud security engineer to join our team.
We are an all cloud company looking for someone who can assume the lead role in the security advisory function supporting Cloud environments and workloads in AWS and Azure.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Serve as technical lead in design and build of multiple cyber security controls or solutions, processes and functions in AWS and Azure.
- Provide design and architecture guidance on projects requiring cloud workloads.
- Perform ongoing security posture assessments using commercial or native tools to identify and track remediation of cyber risk in cloud environments.
- Manage and build upon current security baselines and controls to provide detective, responsive and preventative security controls in our cloud environments.
- Develop and support tools to enable 'infrastructure as code' approach.
- Participate in evaluation and testing of new technologies to elevate our Security posture.
- Experience with implementing and tracking compliance of cloud platforms to industry standards and frameworks (NIST/CIS).
- Develop methodology/framework for providing consistent and repeatable security architecture guidance to enterprise projects by working alongside various IT teams and business customers to make outcomes repeatable, consistent and standard.
- Understand key business processes at Edwards and their characteristics with a view to incorporating security guidance that enables the business operations.
- Assume the role of a technical leader mentoring junior members in the team.
- Stay abreast with the cyber security threat and solution landscape to bring innovative solutions that significantly improve Edwards cloud security posture.
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- Certifications in related discipline preferred (e.g., AWS/Azure)
- 8 years of previous related experience required
- Experience drafting technical documentation
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills and customer focused skills
