Cloud Architect

**Responsibilities**:
Design and document robust cloud solutions per well architected standards and best practices that are cost effective, resilient, scalable and aligned with business strategy utilizing architecture methodology
Develop and deploy end-to-end cloud solutions using IaC and DevOps principles
Test, Qualify and Troubleshoot scripts to ensure quality deliverables
Conduct peer code reviews and communicate findings methodically
Working on multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines
Remain well-versed in latest technologies and cloud architecture patterns to provide them as potential solutions to business opportunities
Execute, plan and participate in projects utilizing Agile project management principals and tools.
Promote a culture of innovation and mutual advancement
Design and follow quality control and test procedures to ensure the deliverables meet established design and performance goals

**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
6+ years of Information Technology industry experience.
Demonstrated experience with best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions

**Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following**: AWS Lambda, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon S3, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and Amazon QuickSight
Deep understanding of AWS Regions, Availability Zones, End Points, Local Zones, Outpost and Python.
Demonstrated experience in deploying AWS Network Components like VPC, Transit Gateway, route tables etc
Familiarity with Network Firewall such as Palo Alto or any Cloud Native Firewalls
Demonstrated experience on best practices for AWS account setup, governance, and architecture
Implementing enterprise-wide scalable and high-availability solutions in a cloud environment
Demonstrated experience with DevOps concepts like CI/CD, blue green deployments etc.
Demonstrated experience with DevOps concepts including IaC using AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform, configuration management using Chef, and Ansible, CI/CD using Jenkins, CodeDeploy, etc;
Demonstrated experience with GIT
Python, C++ or other Object-Oriented Programming and troubleshooting skills preferred
Familiarity with container and resource management technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Mesos preferred
Understanding core security concepts and ability to turn security requirements into robust designs
Certifications in related disciplines required such as AWS Cloud Solutions Architect, Cloud Practitioner etc
Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Understanding Agile methodologies and demonstrated experience working in one
