Huntsman is seeking an HRIS Analyst supporting our GBS Site in San Jose, Costa Rica.
This position will report to the Sr.
Manager - Global HR Systems.
Job Scope:
The Huntsman HR Technology Team is looking for the right person to join us and make a difference
Our HR Tech team configures and improves the technology products and services (primarily Workday) our workers rely on.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about "understanding": what is being done, why it is being done, what the upstream and downstream impacts are, and how we can do it better
We need someone who is knowledgeable and skilled in configuring Workday: HCM, Comp, Recruiting, security, eib's, etc.
We need an individual who wants to help us create for today with an eye toward the future
As the HRIS Analyst you will:
- Build Workday expertise and answer "how" and "why" questions:
- How do I change?
- How do I setup an EIB to load data?
- Why is this happening?
- Why isn't this happening?
- Troubleshoot and resolve global problems with integrations, bp's, security, reports, etc
- Support global day-to-day activities
- Create/Improve reports, bp's, integrations, security and other configs
- Partner and collaborate with people across many departments (e.g.
HRBP's, Comp, Payroll, Recruiting, etc.)
on projects large and small
- Use your consultative skills to turn problems into solutions
- Share your knowledge about HR and HR technology with others

- Passionate about understanding how things work and enjoy taking problems apart, so you know how things really function from start to finish
- Able to effectively contribute to project success
- View the system holistically: understand the inputs and outputs; able to assess the upstream and downstream impacts of changes
- Have a healthy sense of humor
Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years of Workday knowledge: HCM, Security, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, LMS, bp's, eib's, Integrations
- 2+ years of experience supporting HR teams in an HRIS role
- Experience with a ticket management tool (Service Now experience a plus)
- Effective at gathering and documenting the "real" requirements and turning requirements into solutions
- Able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiar with upgrade reviews and testing
