Citi Enterprise Command Center (Mainframe Operations) provides the first line operations monitoring as well as advance support services that enable Citi's core Mainframe operation infrastructure to operate 24/7/365.
Citi has one if not the largest Mainframe deployment in the world all in support of the core financial functions and services to our global customers.
We provide the critical technical monitoring and oversight foundation for Citi's operations through the infrastructure tools in place to focus on Time to Repair - Time to Resume Service.
We do this by working as one-team to deliver high quality, reliable, striving for excellence in all we do.
This modern infrastructure technology in place requires individuals with focus, understanding of the environments, skills and deep knowledge of the Z IBM platform.
We are relentlessly pursuing nothing but the best collectively to ensure Citi continuous operations flawlessly.
It's an environment that requires individuals that perform well under pressure and have the ability to communicate technically and to the business partners in ways to establish presence and leadership while coordinating the quickest path to resuming service.
This position is an integral part of our Enterprise Command Center that provides, Network and Voice Services, Distributed Services, End User Services among others, we are a team that collaborate and interact with them to provide Citi state of the art Command Center Operational services.
**Role Description**
The Mainframe Operations Leaders for the L2 Mainframe support, owns the technical performance of First Line Operations, their constant training and exposure to the latest Z IBM Mainframe technology.
They own the operations tasks but not limited to performing the infrastructure changes, IPL's, software and hardware changes, monitoring, execution of incident and emergency changes, remediation and resumption of service.
Requires to be flexible to work on compressed 4x10 hour shifts as needed we are a "Follow the Sun" operation model that has multiple operating locations worldwide and requires the ECC (Enterprise Command Center) operations to function 24X7X365, this position reports to a local leader and also requires weekdays as well as weekends work based on pre-allocated schedules.
We are looking for individuals that can follow guidelines, enforce standards follow instructions and process at the detail level which is critical for flawless execution.
Open to learn, teachable, play the role as contributor but also as lead and protect the integrity of our environments.
We are entrusted to the highest operational core functions for the company Citi and we require commitment to high standards in a great team environment.
