Applies working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts and in depth knowledge of team objectives. Understands how assigned duties contribute to the work of the team/unit and how the units coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve the objectives of the function. Ensures the quality and service of self and others. May recommend new options to enhance productivity in accordance with guidelines. Requires tact and diplomacy when exchanging complex or sensitive information with others. Is sensitive to audience diversity. Basic knowledge of the organization, the business and its policies required. Typically responsible for resolving basic to moderately complex problems based on practice and precedence. Able to assess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform the processes associated with:
- Receiving, channeling and processing of procurement requests from internal users.
- Obtaining quotations for requests below country threshold that does not require competitive bidding exercise.
- Performing purchasing activities for: one time buys, unplanned/reactive, “bid/quote and buy” methodology, low expenditure/complexity, unique purchase requirements, emergency time sensitive and where sourcing is not done as part of the strategic process.
- Managing/maintaining supplier database or preferred lists.
Managing approval of POs
- Monitoring receipt of goods and services
- Resolving invoice / PO match holds, interacting with business and Accounts Payable
- Guarantee orders’ arrival to supplier
Provide policy and procurement process guidance to users - guided buying.
- Support manager metrics.
- Support users and respond to inquiries.
- Process and publish report when required.
- Responsible for continuous process improvement identification and implementation, risk and control self-assessment testing and review, customer escalations and metrics reporting (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Provide training and support for Users and any other stakeholder as Buying desk model and Procure-to-Pay system rolls out to additional countries.

**Requirements**:
- English level intermediate / advance.
- Bachelor university degree in progress
- 1+ years of operational experience in a shared services environment
