What You Will Achieve
Your expertise and skills will help Pfizer build robust financial controls to manage its finance and accounting practices. You will put in place system controls and determine the operation's consistency with corporate objectives and standards through various verification methods and processes. You will identify internal control gaps in business procedures, processes or systems, and initiate appropriate remedial actions.
As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative teaming environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It
- Contribute to the completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
- Responsible for communicating with internal and external business professionals.
- Support Corporate Audit and ensure compliance and controls are adhered to and captured for audit review.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues of diverse backgrounds, including different departments, cultures, business units and countries.
- Lead select activities involving the month end close, take initiative to understand complex problems and consistently meet deadlines with little to no assistance.
- Assist in timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Pfizer.
- Prepare complete and accurate standard operating procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley related internal control documentation involving new activities and/or process changes as required.
- Monthly reporting of markup elimination and transfer pricing into Consol by researching and analyzing accounting data to meet management requests
- Quarterly recalculation of Inventory Obsolete and Slow Moving Reserves and monthly adjustments as required
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or similar
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English speaking and writing
- Proven experience in SAP ERP
- Adaptability to change and proven experience navigating uncertainty
- Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
- More than 3 years of experience in Shared services industry
- At least 1 year experience in inventory and/or cost accounting
- Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice-to-Have
- Other tech tools experience such as: SAP S/4HANNA, Power BI, Sharepoint, etc
- Experience with migrations, project implementations, standardization initiatives and simplification of processes
- Continues Improvement and identification of risks for the operation
- Demonstrated advanced technical US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting knowledge
- Public accounting experience
- Previous experience with Consolidation and markup elimination processes
- Working experience in a Center of Excellence COE, or global team
