The Group Manager a team of Senior Associates, Associates and Analysts and is responsible for all aspects of effective people and performance management. He or she is also responsible for creating a positive work environment, fostering cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration, and helping to resolve human resources issues.

Additionally, the Group Manager is responsible for developing relationships across WNS Denali account leadership to share best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities / Job Duties**
- Serve as the Group Manager of a procurement services team of 10+ individuals with multiple layers of reporting relationships.
- Meet or exceed SLAs and KPIs and oversee the related tracking and reporting
- Act as the escalation point for the team, communicate and resolve operational issues, and escalate to the Senior Group Manager as needed.
- Manage the team’s objective setting and achievement, performance, career growth, training, and competency development.
- Prepare and lead operational review meetings with the client’s senior leadership.
- Manage resource capacity to ensure adequate support for client requirements and balance the team’s workload.
- Oversee the root cause analysis process and remediation of quality occurrences as part of overall quality management.
- Ensure operational excellence with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Provide the Group Manager with insights into project work and operational and/or project issues.

**Qualifications**

**Required Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- MBA or master’s degree in supply chain, operations, or business preferred
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in the procurement space
- Prior management experience leading 10 or more people
- Strong people management skills
- Consulting or client service delivery experience preferred
- Deep understanding of procurement fundamentals

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

**Procurement Functional/Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Strong Sourcing skills, including sourcing methodology and process, eSourcing technology, RFX development, and management.
- Familiarity with various best practice sourcing approaches and techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data in Excel using pivot tables and various other key Excel functions to analyze, organize and present data.
- Ability to synthesize data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on an understanding of client objectives and requirements.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, eProcurement tools, project management tools, and contract management tools.

**Business Fundamentals**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both internally, with client stakeholders, and the supplier community).
- Demonstrated teamwork and team leadership capabilities.
- Excellent project management skills including project planning, time management, multitasking, and critical path definition.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

**Client Services Capabilities**:

- Strong customer service orientation including demonstrated issue resolution and relationship management skills.
- Confidence and ability to prepare and lead client leadership meetings.
- Ability to learn and master client-specific processes, terminology, political environment, systems, and unique requirements by various business groups.
- Solid decision-making ability using available facts in sensitive client and internal situations.

**Leadership/People Management Skills**:

- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage people.

Pay: ₡1,900,000.00 - ₡2,396,624.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- San José, Provincia de San José: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
