**Job Description**:
**Role Purpose**
EMS is looking for an intelligent, career-minded, driven professional to support the sales team in a role that uniquely blends Finance, Business Intelligence, governance, and problem solving. This role is dynamic, provides opportunity for development, and will give you exposure to the EMS Organization.
**Responsabilities**
- Partner effectively with the commercial finance team to drive performance in excess of profit expectations.
- End to End commissions management (Accruals, Revenue reconciliation, Goal/Bonus Tracking, commission calculations, commission statements, payroll file).
- Drive transparency into sales performance via improved sales opportunity reporting/analysis.
- Support migration to different commissioning systems as we transition off our legacy system to a more sustainable solution.
- Provide consolidated financial analysis and information to Sales and Finance leadership, along with executive summaries, recommendations, and conclusions.
- Develop and maintain decision support platforms to provide key analytics as it relates to compensation plan exceptions.
- Manage commission forecast and various reporting/modelling.
- Work with commercial finance or sales on any inquiries related to commissions.
- Data mining and reporting from multiple systems.
- Problem solving and compensation plan exception analysis and recommendations.
- Support the cost/FA team on other financial processes/analysis when not working on commissions. This may include royalties’ analysis/accruals, sales productivity, month-end close activities, etc.
**Qualifications**:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. Master’s in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management accountant preferred.
- English fluency
- 5+ years progressive experience in commercial finance or business unit FP&A. or similar business partnering role.
- Experience working with commission/compensation processes (preferred) and acting as a strategic partner to Sales Teams.
- Experience working in an offshore Shared Service Center preferred.
- Highly collaborative, accountable, and extremely detailed under tight timelines.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques.
- Highly motivated, results-driven finance professional.
- Intellectual curiosity, proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver, and team player with the ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to constructively challenge ideas and make decisions.
- Superior communication skills across functions and all levels of management.
