**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain tools used to secure public cloud accounts.
- Ensure cloud security standard and principles are adhered to in all cloud environments.
- Implement Security objectives in a consistent, repeatable and automated way across multiple cloud environments with an emphasis on Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Continuously identify and develop security enhancing improvements through automation, better procedures, and other innovations.
- Engage and work closely with project managers, engineers and developers to ensure that they have secure-by-default systems in the cloud.
- Providing security recommendations on service design for cloud workloads.
- Investigate and analyze existing cloud structures and create new and enhanced security methods that will enhance the security of cloud platforms.
- Provide recommendations, and participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of technologies and services in the cloud.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, engineers, program managers, SOC team, analysts and architects to achieve continuous improvement in cyber defense/resilience.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls.
- Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the Micro Focus' cloud platform.

Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a technical/creative discipline or equivalent work experience in IT or Information Security.
- Must have public cloud experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Experience implementing security and hardening in public cloud, especially in a large or complex environment.
- Knowledge of common scripting tools, PowerShell, Python.
- Strong, in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud security configuration management using published baselines and monitoring tools.
- Must be able to provide guidance on architecture and design for cloud security platforms.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with source code control tools and Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation etc.).
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
