Associate Marekt Analyst

The Research Analyst at Thomson Reuters Pricing Service (TRPS) is responsible for fixed income and derivative evaluation support and customer service. TRPS provides evaluated pricing on over 2.6 million fixed income instruments and derivatives per day which are used by asset managers, custodian banks, investment banks, and third party vendors. Day to day responsibilities include query case management and pricing production activities. The analyst will research all queries submitted by TRPS customers including coverage and quality requests. Pricing production involves the creation and maintenance of money market and credit default swap (CDS) curves, client file creation, mortgage-backed benchmark pricing, and new issuance research. Responsibilities Pricing Production Maintaining money market yield curves Updating evaluated CDS levels Updating real time mortgage-backed pricing model Researching terms and conditions on newly issued municipal bonds Preparing custom files for client delivery

Customer Service Handle pre-sales requests relating to the pricing of sovereign, corporate, asset-backed, and Municipal fixed income securities Query case management of individual client price challenges and coverage requests Customer service research projects and reports

Requirements Working toward Bachelors Degree Excellent communication, writing, and training skills Customer service background Working knowledge of spreadsheets Fluent in English Desired Skills Knowledge of fixed income and mathematics Knowledge of financial markets Familiarity with case management software
