As the Cell Lead, you will organize the work of your assigned cell (cell works in 24/7 mode) in order to provide optimal utilization of production capacity, high quality products and maintaining safety in the work cell. You have ownership of24/7 Safety, Quality, Delivery & Productivity area results and responsible for building team capability through active coaching of the cell line pair leader and definition of training requirements of the line team. You will participatein key planned activities to role model and coach teams and drive/leadimprovement plans for area. Being a role-model of high standard for the cell team, you willmanage and inspire the cell team's performance and career and drive their retention and commitment. When there is a gap in team's results and capability, you will ensure that your team leaders are made accountable. WHAT WILL YOU DO
Ensuresafety, quality, production results and compliance within assigned cell and ensure that required volume will be delivered with the planned and budgeted headcount.
Performs daily audits of the machine functioning status, systems and management principles and orders / implements corrective actions.
Ensure volumes are produced in full in a timely manner against production plan and consistently provide accurate inventories in the area by Process Order reconciliation and closure to avoid inventory cost and eliminate loss.
Avoid incidents by instigating the 'zero quality incidents' mentality and culture in his/her area by constantly reiterating this during toolbox meeting ensuring that everyone in the team understands that quality is an utmost priority.
Preventand avoidincidents by ensuring 'zero safety incidents' mentality and culture in his/her area by cascading all safety communications from EHS.
Collaborate Process Lead and Maintenance Lead to balance resources in order to achieve Make Pack department operational goals as well as building high performing team by providing the necessary trainings.
Perform any other tasks given by the supervisor.
Comply with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions
Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.
Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.
Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Technical, engineering, mechanical, electrical education
Knowledge of technical and technological issues
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Team Leader in an international company
Experience with managing technicians & operators, and able to come up with solutions for production processes optimization and establishment
Administrative and team management skills
Knowledge of tobacco industry will be an additional advantage
Proficient in English language both oral and written communication
