We are looking for a FInance controller that is a member of the finance department, where the main responsibilities are cost and price controls, a special focus on direct variable cost; a lead role in internal/external reporting and planning, and a sparring partner of the local organization at his area.

You will report to the Head of Finance Coloplast Costa Rica Volume Manufacturing Site, Cartago.

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible for Manufacturing Accounting
Daily sparring partner for CAR organization (quality, value stream manager, planners, etc.)
Analysis of manufacturing variances
Production settlement and reporting
Participation in month-end closing and preparation of monthly reporting
Participation in stock-takes
Factory Cost price update process
Support in forecasting
Cooperation with Business Centre, HQ controllers, and other production sites
Local reports to Ministerio de Hacienda, Procomer
First point contact to Deloitte, our financial consultant partner

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferable Accounting / Finance / Economics
3+ years experience in financial control at a multinational manufacturing company
High level of English
Extensive knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheet software and MS PowerPoint; Cognos knowledge an advantage
