**What you will do**:

- Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities.
- Investigate and resolve unsupported balances.
- Provide support to businesses on requests related to journal/recon backups.
- Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management which enables a proactive response to potential risks and related losses.
- Financial Statement analysis.
- Prepare journal entries calculations.
- Perform month-end closing process and any request as necessary
- Comply with Corporate accounting policies, and US and local GAAP.
- Performs other related work to the accounting cycle.

**What do you need?**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- MS Office Suite
- Intermediate excel level (pivot table, formulas, charts)
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
- SAP, Oracle, or QAD systems knowledge is a big plus

**Qualifications & experience**:

- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a finance/accounting function in a matrixed international company (preferably an American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage

**Physical & mental requirements**:

- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
- Versatile, motivated, creative, intellectually curious, a good communicator and collaborator
- Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
- Computer or technical knowledge
- Effective problem-solving skills
