**What you will do**:
The RTR Senior Accountant will be primarily responsible for executing accounting activities related to assigned entities in Stryker’s newly created Costa Rica Shared Service Center and additional support required per ad-hoc request.
- Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
- Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from the budget.
- Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects
- Perform tasks related to the intercompany accountant.

**What do you need?**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- +3 years of relevant working experience preferably from a Finance background in General Accounting activities: Journal entries processing, Account Reconciliation, Financial Reporting and Analysis, fixed assets, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Intermediate level: PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, charts, formulas, etc.)
- English level B2
- Knowledge of USGAAP would be an advantage
- Experience in ERP systems
- Accustomed to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment: experience in a multinational firm or shared service center is a plus
- Energetic, team-oriented, proactive, and attentive to detail.
- Able to effectively communicate across different levels within the company
