**What you will do**:
The accounting lead is responsible for performing account analysis, approving account reconciliations, preparing accounting statements and reports, and coordinating and management of account reporting and filings. Plans, coordinates and resolves accounting matters with other accounting members, departments, locations, and divisions.
- Strive for cross-functional alignment to achieve End-To-End Process Harmonization
- Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.
- Review, control and approve Account Reconciliations and journal entries.
- Supervise month-end close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to Associate Manager.
- Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement
- Take a leadership role for accounting-related issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP, and local GAAP
- Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.
- Oversee and support the accountant and senior positions in the team by promoting a team environment and providing work direction and guidance.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Monitoring and optimization of business processes with regards to efficiency and effectiveness
- Performs other related work as assigned by management

**What do you need?**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in the English language
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
- ERP System (SAP, Oracle or QAD)
- 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably an American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage

- Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
