SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this role is to drive Continuous Improvement, Performance Metrics and Data Analytics to sub functions within America’s Supply Chain. This includes working with GSC Americas teams (Enabling/AMP Hub/Market functions) to transform and drive IMEx deployment across the value chain and assure sustainability with health checks, operational standard, and CI loop facilitation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Deploy IMEx across GSC America’s Ecosystems by working together with the respective process centric teams (PCT’s) for New Implementations, Sustainability, and Coaching

New Implementations
- Train and coach CI Specialist across the Region
- Define Process Centric Team (PCT) and lead the IMEx implementation
- Map detailed step by step process flow chart/Standard Work (SW) for each process
- Establish Standard Work Schedule (SWS) and track adherence
- Set Visual Management (VM) meetings and establish method to govern progress
- Identify CI Loop (CI opportunities, CI projects, etc.) and drive continuous improvement
- Put in place Structured Gemba (SG) process to confirm ecosystem standard adherence and to find CI actions
- Implement Digital Operations Center (DOC) modules set up and execution

Sustainability
- Lead/support the PCTs in the management and best sustainability approach of IMEx elements: PCT, SW, SWS, VM, CI Loop and SG through DOC use
- Govern the metrics review process on regular intervals (daily, weekly, or monthly with T1/T2) including data/root cause/action identification/action progress update
- Actively participate in Visual Management (VM) Meetings to confirm IMEx standards adherence and identify CI opportunities across the region (standardization, integration, etc.)
- Supervise and monitor PCT’s execution of IMEx Ecosystem Review and Structured Gemba (SG) process across the region
- Guide PCTs to perform process value analysis and identify steps that can be eliminated or simplified
- Support CI process to meet BSC targets by KPI performance monitoring. That includes leading/supporting the CI prioritization
- Collaborate on the identification and implementation of continuous improvements initiatives of DOC system

Coaching
- Act as an IMEx SME/coach to support IMEx Ecosystems in GSC Americas
- Work with Regional Operational Excellence lead for IMEx ecosystem approaches, framework and deployment
- Connect with various stakeholders from different functions to support in routine and critical challenges
- Work with T1/T2 PCT lead to drive Lean & Six Sigma Projects for the identified opportunities
- Lead T1/T2 strategic projects to deliver objective and metrics target when required
- Train and coach the teams on operational excellence approaches (Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management, etc.)
- Lead/collaborate M1 trainings and provide coaching to M1 projects
- Collaborate with other global teams (EMEA & APAC regions) for benchmark and standardization purposes

Performance and Capabilities
- Assist with America’s Reporting and Analytics governance process for prioritization and approval of new requests
- Primary interface with planning teams for key digital capabilities and priorities (Supply IQ, APO, IBP)
- Lead requirements gathering for complex digital solutions though out the Region
- Support performance metrics development for Americas T4
- Assist with Ad Hoc Reporting requests supporting Logistics Network Strategy

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
- 5 -7 years experienced working with Lean Capabilities, IMEx deployments, Continuous Improvement or Operation Excellence.
- Method 1 certified (or equivalent: Yellow Belt)
- Process and Product Knowledge
- Effective Coaching & Managing Change Skills
- Effective meeting facilitation skills
Strong team work required and proven ability to build effective relationships across the entire America’s Supply Chain organization
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multi-cultural environment, balancing needs of different stakeholders
- Strong Communication Skills, English and Spanish
- Proactive
