Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- Extensive experience in a leadership role in Finance, Operations, Support, Business Development, or other related fields
- Strong business-process design experience
- Exhibits sound business judgement, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses and administrative process, and influencing results
- Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
- Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job summary
Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is looking for an Operations Manager in Costa Rica who will drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to the sales and operations organization. This position also participates in the administration and execution of organizations go to market activities, including tracking and reporting of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various process improvements to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.
Key job responsibilities
- Management of a team of operations analysts in the local office providing operational, analytical and administrative support to a WW organization
Participate in initiatives across the WW operations group and be an active participant on this team
- Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of forecasting models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions across the Commercial business.
- Working with the operations management, contribute to the annual Goals setting, budget management and ongoing forecasting processes.
- Lead the development and provision of routine and ad-hoc analytic reports to AWS sales operations management regarding business initiatives, customer segment performance, performance against goals, etc. Ensure reports contribute to business insight and decision-making, and minimize overall report burden.
- Create WW financial and operational templates and processes to compile and standardize disparate information that drive standardized reporting and metrics tracking
- Develop a deep understanding of AWS sales metrics, reporting tools, and data structure in order to identify and drive resolution of issues, provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify and develop new metrics, dashboards, scorecards or new tools
- Maintain and develop financial tools or reports that align, and simplify, monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes
- Generate ad hoc and monthly recurring financial and operational performance analysis, based on the needs of the stakeholders
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company would be highly beneficial
- Experience building and managing new organizations focused on provided a shared services capability
- Experience with the development and implementation of systems/tool utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, process automation, etc
- Experience in Data Querying, Data Visualization and Business Insight Tools
- Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented, requiring limited supervision
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree
