The Supply Chain Manager manages all the planning, purchasing and logistics within the operation, being responsible of the Supply Chain optimization, Inventory Management, Materials planning and purchasing, sourcing, scheduling, SIOP, Warehouse management, inbound and outbound logistics, distribution and Customs compliance functions supporting effectively our Customer Service areas to meet Sales and Inventory objectives.
Grant direction to Supply Chain team and creates the right network and collaboration relationship with other departments such as EHS, Production, Engineering, Quality, Process improvement, HR and Finance and others to facilitate the supply chain flow, and achieve goals established for the period.
**What you’ll do**:
- Recommend, develop, and manage plans to improve materials management, logistics and procurement processes and results utilizing Eaton Business System (EBS), specially the Operational Excellence component.
- Lead Supply Chain Business Process Improvement activities (Rapid Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping, 5S+, Boot Camps etc.). Monitor and track performance improvement related to activities and implements process checks to ensure sustained performance.
- Lead Supply Chain Digitization efforts by developing/ identifying automation opportunities for reports, processes and tools.
- Work with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to ensure division end-to-end operational goals are met/ exceeded.
- Work closely with Continuous Improvement team to develop a roadmap for functional maturity in OpA & EBS with a focus on Lead On-time delivery, Inventory Optimization and Materials Excellence projects
- Identify and Implement goals and initiatives policies, procedures, and requirements change across the division
- Responsible for Days on Hand target and materials driven On Time Performance improvement actions, working with plants to identify and execute on improvement projects.
- Lead and support Physical Inventory and Cycle Count processes to drive material accuracy.
- Plan, organize and direct the supply chain team to ensure the most effective return on assets and investment.
- Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
- Negotiate the pricing of major commodity groups under scope. Work collaboratively with corporate category managers to ensure the best cost, quality and delivery conditions.
- Review actual results to ensure that goals are achieved for cost savings, inventory, shipping & customer service-related issues.
- Management of transportation issues, including review of carriers and daily execution of shipping schedules, for cost, service and quality.
- Ensure import and export process are in compliance with local/regional legislation.
- Review stock levels and direct to customer orders to assure 95% SFR and OTP.
- Negotiate VMI programs and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate order scheduling to meet customer promise dates for stock and non-stock items.
- Develops logistics, distribution and warehouse strategies for the region.
- Manage the SIOP process to ensure proper maturity levels are achieved and maintained (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning).
- Manages inventory control and warehousing in the region, focusing on balance inventory and lead times with customer requirements.
- Contracts and evaluates logistics suppliers for transportation, Customs clearance, warehouse services, outbound distribution according to Eaton policies and procedures.
- Drive logistics process improvements, developing an optimal material flow to support customer requirements.
- Respond to special work requests of the Plant Manager, Business Unit Manager and other Departments.
- Comply the Eaton Business System (EBS), in foundations, Planning, Growth, Functional Excellence, Assessment and Learning, ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and its tools (such as: Eaton Quality System (EQS), Eaton Lean System and Six Sigma-ELS, HR Standard Work and Employee Survey.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related fields. MBA Preferred.
- CPIM, CSCP or MBA in Supply Chain Management required.
- Minimum of 5 years in supply chain management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Working knowledge of current supply chain/materials management methods and practices.
- Supply chain proven experience (Materials and inventory management, warehouse, logistics, distribution, compliance, sourcing). A thorough understanding of manufacturing and financial KPI.
- Project management.
- English and Spanish language capability required.
- PC literate with MS Office 365 including Power Apps.
- Experience working with ERP (i.
