**Job Description**:
What are we building?
Datasite provides powerful and innovative solutions to enable our clients to manage the most complex deals on the planet as efficiently as possible. We want to be the easiest, fastest, and most intuitive way to progress deals to a successful outcome.
The stack includes Angular and React on the frontend, with predominantly Java, Kotlin, and Node on the backend. Data storage includes MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and Snowflake.
We are looking for talented engineers to join the distributed team. This team will have many opportunities to learn new technologies and innovate on new solutions.
- Confidence with most recent versions of Java and Kotlin
- 5+ years’ experience in Kafka and the Kafka Streams library OR experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse solutions
- Technical expertise with data modeling and database design in SQL
- Develops clear and readable documentation to communicate technical solutions
- Collaborative with good cross-team communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency with Groovy
- Knowledge of MongoDB data structures and change streams
- Exposure to Kubernetes
- An understanding of RabbitMQ
- Some DBA experience a plus
