**Areas of Accountability
- The Document Controller will work closely with the Project Execution Lead, Project Engineers, Project Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, Business Admins and the Global Support team by interpreting and processing order documentation requirements based on customer requirements, also ensuring all team members have access to the necessary documentation.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain Emerson documentation standard (layout and contents).
- Set up projects in the document management system.
- Coordinate training and access to the document management system for the project team.
- Study drawings, specifications and product samples.
- Prepare user manuals on documentation and how to guides.
- Create Documentation Dossier according to user’s requirements (table of contents, cover sheets, bookmarks and cite sources) for Projects.
- Collect, organize and control qualitatively the electronic documentation from Industries and other sources.
- Manage project documentation and associated metadata in accordance with the agreed plan, customer agreements and any other existing industry requirements.
- Formally transmit all official project documents and distribute as necessary.
- Receive and upload all incoming documentation and client responses into the document management system, as required and in a timely manner.
- Provide final documentation that accurately meets customer requirements (electronic, paper, CD-ROMs) and ensure the highest standards of presentation are maintained.
- Respond effectively to documentation requests and queries from internal customers.
- Acts as liaison between the Drawing Team / Sales Engineers / Project Manager/ Engineers / Order Administrators and Project/Customer Administrators Team in all documentation related matters, in order to bring clarity and meet customer requirements and the agreed timeline.
- In case of need, acts as escalation point for all documentation execution related matters in front of internal and external customers.
- Perform adequate documentation management.
- Archive soft copies of documentation.
- Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.
- Perform language and formatting proofreading of the project documentation.
- Develop and maintain good knowledge of all correlated EDMS (DocPro, SharePoint).
- Follow-up on the project documentation status, schedule dates, on time delivery and report the status as per project specifications.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide valid solutions in order to mitigate the risk.

**Interactions
- Multi Business Americas and other world areas including Executive Management, Internal and external Costumers.

**Qualifications
- Minimum Educational Qualifications: English, Document Management University Degree or any related field from an accredited institution.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. (Access and SharePoint will be a plus)
- Adobe experience.
- Must have excellent oral and written English skills.
- Must have excellent people skills due to interfacing with all levels of associates.
