Job Function Summary

The Payroll Specialist responsibilities include supporting to the Payroll Controller collecting the employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing, and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

**Responsibilities**:
Support in the pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, off-cycle payroll processes.
Be risk aware and help identify, report, mitigate and track risks in the payroll delivery process.
Support employee/ manager queries when the Payroll Controller don’t be present.
Entering data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs.
Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
Supporting for all Coloplast payroll (SEMC, QUIC, QUID, QUIH)
Managing electronic timekeeping systems (Kronos - Softland) or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets.
Advance inclusions in every government entities (CCSS and INS).
Preparation of salary and time worked letters.
Holidays - Vacations balance control.
Updating auxiliary files for Christmas bonus, Income Tax validations.
Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
Maintaining employee records (New Hires, internal promotions, annual salary review, monthly reports)
Supporting in the managing payment task related for employees abroad.
Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
Providing administrative assistance to the Payroll Controller.

**Other responsibilities**:
Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines given
Drawing attention to the payroll controller/manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system

Essential Qualifications

Student in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred, specialized in payroll.
Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations and labour legislation.
Experience working with different shifts payments.
2/3+ years of experience working in a payroll process.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
Knowledge in Softland it will be a plus.
Knowledge in Time Keeping Systems (Kronos) it will be a plus.
English level B2

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
High degree of personal ownership on all areas of own responsibilities.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
High level of integrity.
