**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management of the Tax Operations team for various countries, including integration of Affiliates’ tax functions into the GBS Tax team.
- Handling different tax matters pertaining to these countries with assistance of tax expert team members.
- Improvement of process and control framework, developing best in class regional and market teams by leading continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and engage team members and foster stakeholder management.
- Develop strong working relationships with business, finance, and tax leaders across the global organization to collaborate on significant tax matters affecting the tax operations of the countries in scope and strength the tax operations team’s partnership and influencing skills.
- Lead the tax team in charge of the preparation and delivery of tax declarations to local authorities for countries in scope including both indirect and direct taxes as well as the reporting and reconciliation of the CIT expense.
- Proactively deal with local tax advisors to provide high impact support and/or advice.
- React efficiently to global legislative changes and creating systems and processes to ensure compliance and stable and efficient operations.
- Create a high-performing and efficient team. Ensure the team is right sized and appropriate allocation of headcount to meet the functions objectives.
- Lead the team by setting up, communicating, and living the team purpose, while developing the people ensuring upskilling, inclusion, and diversity.
- Participate in the improvement, implementation and safeguarding of global processes across the organization to ensure tax obligations are met.
- Driving improvements aligned with the overall strategy through digitalization, leveraging Data Analytics and smart automation.

**WHO YOU ARE**
- BA/BS degree in Tax/Fiscal, Finance, Accounting, Law or Business.
- At least 5 years of experience in taxation.
- Proven professional tax practice in multinational companies, and preferably experience in international tax firms. Experience in GBS centers is a plus.
- Sound experience across Tax Operations, Tax accounting/reporting, Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Taxes, International Tax.
- High proficiency level in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong tax judgement and business knowledge, or ability to quickly learn.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Accounting, Tax, and Finance relevant processes in a legal entity, and at group level of multinational companies.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate, coach and develop teams with different backgrounds and aspirations.
- Very good analytical skills, and the proactive attitude to drive process changes.
- Excellent customer-oriented mindset, change management capabilities and team player.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, and presentation skills, and ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders.
