Our team supports some of the world's major organisations, helping make the internet work for them by successfully integrating and protecting their websites on our platform. The PDAS team is responsible for Incubation and Readiness of new Products or Features which will then be implemented by the wider Professional Services team.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the delivery of our security solutions. You will take care of the integration, traffic analysis while working closely with cross-functional teams to provide high-quality outcomes. If what PS needs is more involved and requires a thorough discussion about the new product, PDAS comes in to help there.

As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for:

- Guiding a PSer on how to best prepare for a customer call to discuss a new product feature
- Troubleshooting and Escalation guidance. Beta support
- Identifying way forward for a (perhaps complex) use case not already covered in training/documentation
- Being Product Line Experts for new Products. Working with the Service Enablement team to define how to integrate, troubleshoot and support the new Product
- Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions
- Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and customizing Akamai security solutions to answer customers' security issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional project team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support the ongoing implementation

- Have solid Industry Experience
Have experience with Internet technologies including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and web servers
- Show proactivity and work with a sense of urgency combined with constant desire to learn
- Demonstrate written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content in English
- Be self-motivated, and able to understand complex systems
