This position will be for a Full Stack developer who will take a key role on our team. Our Full Stack developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development. You’ll be working alongside other team members and consulting developers, collaborating on various projects related to ETL and data processing. Some of the primary responsibilities of this role would include owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests daily to ensure service-related issues are identified and resolved, responding to database related alerts and escalations and working to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems.

**Essential Functions**
- Utilizing Microsoft's SQL infrastructure to create software solutions that meet clients' requirements.
- Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.
- Reformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines.
- Checking your code to detect and remedy errors and omissions.
- Testing your outputs to ensure that they are in excellent working order.
- Ensuring that outputs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and engaging.
- Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.
- Using clients' feedback to inform the creation of subsequent versions of each development.
- Remaining abreast of coding and technological changes that will impact your work.

**Requirements**:
**Education**

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field

**Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience in ETL and data processing.
- Experience using tools like SQL Server Management Studio to manage database infrastructure and deployments.
- Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools on both SQL Server database engine & SQL queries
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server
- Develop scripts to perform system maintenance, monitor systems, automate tasks, and implement operational automation
- Fluent with SQL Syntax and possess hands-on, successful experience in doing the work in a SQL Server environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SSRS BI components
- Familiarity cloud solutions and database performance and optimization
- Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views and sequences, packages and procedures.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features and maintain existing functions

- Assist with system testing and validation procedures
- Software programming and proper documentation
- Maintain code integrity and organization
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Experience with Single Sign On authentication implementation, SAML 2.0 or similar
- My SQL, MS SQLserver, Azure or AWS cloud API
- Dev Tools like GitHub, MS Team Foundation Server
- API / Web dev is a major plus.
- Cross-functional IT background
- Ability to examine data and work out how to connect solutions in the most efficient way
- Ability to demonstrate critical problem-solving skills by troubleshooting for the most effective solution
- Demonstrated leadership skills in peer group
- Experience in defining and developing high-volume, horizontally scalable architectures
- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Advanced English proficiency (B2+)
