**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
As a Research Associate within BCG’s Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our Americas DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.

Some of the topics covered by the Energy team on a regular basis include oil and gas upstream, midstream, downstream, retail, trading, clean energy technologies (CCUS, DAC), renewables (solar, wind, nuclear, hydrogen, biomass, green fuels), power and utility topics (power generation, transmission, distribution) as well as decarbonization and the role of energy towards Net Zero scenarios. Regions of focus are mainly North and South America, but global scope is part of daily engagements as well.

Working closely with more senior team members, you will engage with our Consulting and Knowledge Teams daily with the aim to understand, scope and deliver accurate, timely and relevant data and information

Working accurately in a fast paced, deadline focused environment- You will have strong attention to detail by clarifying request objectives under direct supervision and discussing the most appropriate and timely research approach. You will do this whilst communicating directly with BCG stakeholders to evaluate and recommend the most efficient and successful research strategy per project.

Working well independently and in a collaborative team environment- Working closely with fellow DRS colleagues, you will approach all interactions with the highest level of quality and customer service. You will also guide outsourcing partners in their research analysis and do quality assurance

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:
Undergraduate Degree minimum (a preference for a degree in business, economics, engineering, sciences)- 0-2 years relevant working experience- Excellent English (written and oral); Portuguese and/or other European languages are an asset- Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in the most user-friendly format- Interest in smart utilities and decarbonization are a plus**YOU'LL WORK WITH**:
The Data and Research Services (DRS) function is a dynamic and highly visible center of excellence focused on business research and process innovation. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. DRS provides specialist research services to consulting teams and our Knowledge Team, taking deep pride in developing rapid and precise results.

DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
