**BAT COSTA RICA** **IS LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING INTERN**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Intern

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**SALARY RANGE**:Subsídio ₵220.000 + Work from home option + Monday to Friday Schedule + Possibility to extend internship

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of DBS -GBS Finance.

**Reports to**:Transactional Finance Manager

**Reporting Level**:Mid - Senior Level

**Geographic Scope**:Americas

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Execute general ledger accounts reconciliations and follow-up on reconciling items.
- Perform analysis of balance sheet accounts ensuring accounts are accurate, any suspicious transaction must be investigated and escalated accordingly.
- Perform month-end activities accurately ensuring period is closed as per agreed timetable.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Currently studying Accounting or a related field.
- Insurance Policy expedited by the INS.
- Active student certificate.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and data manipulation tools, Excel, etc.
- Individual with a proactive and positive attitude with an eye to detail.
- Teamwork abilities, sense of urgency and communication skills.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Desirable intermediate English level, verbal, and writing.
- Desirable intermediate Portuguese level, verbal, and writing.
- Desirable Power BI knowledge.
