**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of high performing Engineers and Sr. Engineers.
- Lead an agile squad using sprint to prioritize and manage work.
- Be able to effectively communicate with several stake holders on status and ability to present to executives.
- Work closely with Sr. Engineers and Team Leaders to architect, develop and contribute to the best technical design and approach.
- Foster culture of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
- Propose and implement new projects or recommend system improvements.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers and large teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design, and performance.
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Software development background in Cloud deployments (public, hybrid), object-oriented programming, distributed systems, Java, Linux/UNIX, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Jenkins and other automation technologies
- Deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
- The ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Subject matter expertise in banking / payments. Understanding of modern cloud architecture.
- Consulting/app deployment experience (able to work with consulting).
- Roadmap planning and communication.
- Product lifecycle experience—build, QA, release, sell, implement.
- Able to interact with development, cloud, consulting, services.
- Collaborative approach with respect, transparency, and accountability.
- General range of product management skills including product marketing, pricing, packaging, competitive analysis, market research, RFPs, and demos.
- Self-starter with comfort in fast-paced, high-visibility situations.
