Embedded Software Internship
This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.College/University Graduate hires (within 12 months of graduation per the company's definition) undergoing a specific training and development path within the EMEA Graduate Program.
**_ Responsibilities: _**
- Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools
- Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
- Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately
- complex products.
**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
Close to complete Bachelor's degree in Computers Science, Computers Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical or Electronics engineering or equivalent.
**_ Knowledge and Skills Desired_**:
- Understanding of software systems design tools and languages.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Intermediate English level
