Aruba Networks is a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company that provides networking products and solutions spanning Wireless, Switches, SD-WAN, Security, Location, and Management & Operations.

This position is part of the Switching organization developing ArubaOS-CX: a next-gen, cloud-native operating system that runs on top of our network switches based on a micro-services architecture for full network programmability and workflow automation.

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

**Responsibilities**:

- Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools
- Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
- Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
- Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately
- complex products.

**Education and Experience Required**:
Close to complete Bachelor's degree in Computers Science, Computers Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.

**Knowledge and Skills Desired**:

- Understanding of software systems design tools and languages.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent English and local language verbal communication.
