The Internship position reports to the Corporate or International Accountant. The position performs various support month end close and accounting tasks on a daily and monthly basis, including but not limited to booking recurring journal entries, vendor review, Comdata/Tangoe entries, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, vendor liabilities, accounting files, book and upload journal entries, retail partnership accounting, Travel & Entertainment reclass entries, depreciation or amortization reclass entries, analysis files, reports, audit requests and others.

- Help to prepare low complexity journal entries, Upload CSV files and monthly true up entries
- Assist with statutory international requests (PwC and audit requests)
- Help with international monthly processes such as: vendor review, G&A and DC allocations
- Assist monthly with monitoring and preparing intercompany reconciliations
- GL coding review-prepaids/fixed assets/marketing/shipping
- Statement requests based on monthly vendor liability review
- Roll recurring monthly accounting files
- Roll & update all monthly analytical files
- Comdata /Amex review plus team feedback

Qualifications:

**technical requirements**:

- Currently studying towards an accounting degree
- English skills, oral and written would be preferable
- Skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Desire of obtaining their CPA certification after graduation is a plus
