The role of an Accounts Payable Clerk at Stryker involves handling supplier invoice processing and payments within the newly established Costa Rica Shared Service Center. This position is integral to the implementation of Stryker's Finance One optimization program.
Key responsibilities:
- Efficiently process invoices using Oracle and SAP
- Verify invoice approvals and GL numbers
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve processing delays
- Maintain thorough documentation for auditing purposes
- Adhere to internal control procedures for accurate financial records
- Undertake other tasks as directed by management
Required qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong command of English (additional languages are a plus)
- Knowledge of Oracle and SAP systems is advantageous
Experience and skills:
- 1-2 years of relevant finance experience in an international company with complex reporting structures
Personal attributes:
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
