What you will do:
Responsibilities include performing account analysis, preparing and approving account reconciliations, preparing accounting statements and reports, and coordinating and management of account reporting and filings.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of period close processes.
- Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.
- Prepare, review, and approve Account Reconciliation of accounts.
- Execute and/or supervise
monthend close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to Associate Manager. - Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement.
- Take a leadership role for accountingrelated issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP, and local GAAP.
- Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.
- Oversee and support the clerk positions in the team by promoting a team environment and providing work direction and guidance.
- Performs other related work as assigned by management.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in the English language
- Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
- ERP System (JDE, HFM)
- 45 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in a matrixed international company (preferably an American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage
