Senior accountant

Essential Functions:
1. Monthly reconciliation of trial balance accounts in Blackline (Prioritizing Banks and Intercompany).
2. Process standard/reversing monthly journal entries.
3. Manage CEA (capital equipment acquisition) process and monthly reports.
4. Record all fixed asset transactions in the systems and corresponding monthly transactions to comply with US GAP and local regulations.
5. Fixed Asset reporting – book/tax; actual to forecast.
6. Manage Intercompany transactions in a monthly basis.
7. Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting to Corporate Reporting, Insurance and Tax Departments.
8. Provide support for internal and external audits (Procomer, Corporate, etc).
9. Prepare monthly financial books and annual budget books.
10. Performs additional duties as requested by management.
11. Reconcile the assets in process, Fixed Assets and Accumulated Depreciation accounts monthly.
12. Generate the JE to activate Assets and place them in service.
13. Maintain the subledger for depreciation for local books and US GAAP
14. Post the depreciation JE during month end close.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting field for a manufacturing company (Medical devices or Manufacturing operations experience will be a plus).
3. Familiarity with Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany process, fixed assets and Accruals.
4. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Accuracy and detail oriented.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D.365) ERP.
8. Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products to include Excel, Word, Outlook.
9. Passing of background check which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction, history, educational and driving records.
10. Fluent communication and written skills in Spanish and English.
