Supply Chain Data Analyst

The Supply Chain Data Analyst will develop innovative analytical approaches to support Huntsman's supply chain operations and strategy.

This role will design, develop, implement and rollout advanced planning and scheduling models, data analytics tools, process mining, Cost to serve modeling, and freight management solutions in support of the Huntsman supply chain management processes.

This includes model requirements, definition, model construction with Huntsman supported software packages, and support of key users.


The Supply Chain Data Analyst will work closely with cross functional groups to enhance analytical capabilities, identify business opportunities, and quantify the impact of strategic projects.

In summary, as the Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will:

  • Updates and supports the reporting systems, primarily via Power BI, used for data analytics and to present the results of plans, schedules, and KPIs to the affected businesses and/or functions,
  • Introduce Machine Learning methodologies across a wide breadth of business use cases,
  • Acquire deep understanding of business problems and translate them into appropriate mathematical depictions,
  • Drive the execution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to address business needs
  • Collect, cleanse, and understand complex data sources to enable proper analytical modeling,
  • Manage Special Projects, Pilots, Proof of Concepts, and Adhoc project work,
  • Participate in the evaluation, intake, design, and integration strategy between multiple Supply Chain functions and data sources,
  • Support of Celonis' Process Mining models to facilitate visualization of process flows, identification of process bottlenecks, and streamlining process efficiencies through alerts and automated actions (via use of bots),
  • Collaborate with Supply/Demand Planning business process leads to align business requirements with systems and process solutions that ensure overall Huntsman objectives are met,
  • Identify appropriate datadriven analytics from use case concept through experiment design to industrialization/deployment to end users,
  • Develop professional presentations appropriate for their intended audience.
  • Conducting data preparation and cleansing, and building data pipelines to support modeling and operational needs,
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to encourage best practices for experimental design and data analysis,
  • Create compelling interactive visualizations and presentations to enhance decision making, capabilities throughout the company.
Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain, data science or related field.
Experiences

  • Experience with development in Power BI, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Celonis, HSIMS and other technologies,
  • Experience with SAP (R4) and/or SAP (4HANA).
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with programming, statistical and probabilistic analysis tools such as SPSS Minitab, R, Python, AIMMS,
  • Interest/experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is highly beneficial,
  • Experience with and use of the MRP tools within SAP,
  • Experience with Agile project plans or SCRUM.
Skills & Knowledge

  • English and Spanish are required,
  • Business acumen (strong understanding of how business operates, and how to harness data and analytics to meet business needs),
  • Ability to develop and deploy advanced analytical models and algorithms that drive efficiencies at Huntsman,
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for partners using Power BI,
  • Passion for solving complex data problems and generating crossfunctional solutions in a fastpaced environment,
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills, including training delivery,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and timemanagement abilities,
  • High initiative, selfstarter, and able to work with limited supervision,
