ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:


The role will be both demanding and rewarding where you can make a difference working in a cornerstone team of our organization, with significant learning opportunities and exposure to a diverse group of leaders.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will be based in Wind River's Costa Rica Office in San Jose.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycle, by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
  • Perform monthly account analyses and reconciliations of various balance sheet and expense accounts.
  • Support monthly general ledger accounting processes including treasury accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with USGAAP and company policy.
  • Contribute to the monthly consolidation and reporting processes, financial statement preparation, and success of all the team's deliverables, as required.
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an indepth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent with a solid knowledge of GAAP, general ledger structure, and financial statements.
  • At least three years of experience in accounting.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Office Suite knowledge including Advanced Excel and strong data management skills.
  • Significant attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fastpaced environment; demonstrating a sense of urgency and should be resultsdriven.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse accounting team in a dynamic environment, contributing to a positive team culture that values open communication, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders; constructive and solutionoriented mindset.
  • Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, multitask, work independently, and execute objectives without supervision.
  • Understanding of treasury accounting, fixed asset accounting, lease accounting and consolidations is preferred.
  • Oracle R12 experience strongly preferred.
