As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expertise for cyber security technical and nontechnical solutions; review and provide guidance enabling business system in the cloud while leveraging Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) in a manner that adheres to Santander information security policy and standards.
- Designing, developing, operating and managing comprehensive security architectures, solutions to assess, prioritize, and mitigate business risk with technology controls.
- Specific focus includes mitigating cyber security threats, ensuring systems availability, aligning with global regulatory risk and compliance requirements.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with waterfall and more importantly agile development methodologies.
- Ability to concisely communicate with SME, and midlevel management (director level) occasionally.
- Assess architectural patterns for service account authentication, Privileged Access Management, DevSecOps pipeline, security logging and monitoring, audit logging, and compliance guidance and monitoring.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 / NIST standards or equivalent
