Overview

Digital Sales Enterprise is a key part of Microsoft's SMC and Digital sales organization, aiming to empower customers by leveraging the unique value of the Microsoft Cloud globally. As a Digital Sales Enterprise Specialist, you'll be part of our team that engages enterprise customers to help them achieve their business goals through top-notch digital engagement and partner co-selling. Collaboration is key as you work across teams, embracing our shared SMC and Digital Sales Culture priorities: Diversity and Inclusivity, Wellbeing, Sustainability, and Customer Obsession.

The Digital Cloud Acquisition team focuses on driving growth for Microsoft by showcasing the benefits of the Microsoft Cloud to customers. Using cutting-edge sales and marketing tools, this team uses marketing insights to connect with customers digitally and assist in solving their business challenges using the latest innovations in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of sales and negotiation experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or related field) AND 3+ years of sales and negotiation experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, and network technologies.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in selling or consulting on security technology solutions.
  • 7+ years of sales and negotiation experience, Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or related field) AND 4+ years of sales and negotiation experience, OR Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or related field) AND 1+ year(s) of sales and negotiation experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in selling cloud services to large/global customers.
  • Proven ability to work towards goals while best practices are still evolving.
  • Professional communication skills and knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud platform competition.
  • High productivity, ability to manage priorities effectively, and work autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in building relationships with Executive-level stakeholders and aligning value propositions with customer priorities.
  • Quick and accurate learner with the ability to retain knowledge about systems, processes, products, and services.
  • Skilled in relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Operational and sales excellence with expertise in planning, opportunity qualification, stakeholder communication, and sales practices.
  • Desire for continuous learning, growth, and driving positive change.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and key decision-makers to ensure a superior customer experience and drive satisfaction through digital sales excellence.
  • Maintain reporting accuracy for key metrics, adopt program processes for timely reporting, and provide valuable business insights.
  • Share customer insights and best practices to enhance team capabilities and foster change.
  • Collaborate with various teams to manage customer opportunities effectively, deliver connected experiences, and accelerate value with Microsoft's cloud technologies.
  • Convert digital leads into revenue opportunities, identify customer needs across different industries and company sizes, and propose solutions with a focus on your specialized area.
  • Stay motivated and approach problem-solving positively in a dynamic business environment.
  • Understand customer security challenges and business objectives to link them with appropriate security solutions and partners.
