The Data Analytics team is a client focused, technology enabled team, producing high value & unique analytics & data derivations to drive insight and value to our internal and external stakeholders.
Data Analytics is responsible for creating LSEG Intellectual Property by generating derived fundamental data content (e.g. Price to Earnings Ratio) and similar content based on data standardization from raw data.Department Description - Index Data Management

Maintenance of High-Quality Fundamental Factors
- Test output of data derivations ensuring Accuracy of calculations
- Monitor and perform quality control checks on raw & derived data for daytoday business
- Ensuring high quality and complete derived data content is created and provided for use in index builds and other products by way of detailed historical data reviews and cleansing
- Assisting in the production of regular reports and new product development in data and technology segments to support index & analytics
- Produce data visualizations and data quality reports to management and stakeholders
- Deliver clear and accurate analysis to facilitate stakeholder discussions
- Build trust with stakeholders by consistently understanding and fulfilling stakeholder requests in an accurate, timely and professional manner
- Continuously adopt a pragmatic, flexible and responsive approach
- Create robust and repeatable processes to continuously deliver high quality output
- Suggest change and innovation to enhance current methods of working
- Working with teams in multiple locations simultaneously, in an iterative and collaborative manner
- Maintain constructive and supportive working relationships with stakeholders across the group
- Demonstrate and practice adherence to LSEG internal controls and standards in data management, and document management and production (e.g. keeping appropriate records, following LSEG processes and using mandated tools, etc.)
- A good understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of fundamental, forecast and pricing data; and identifiers is key to the role
- Attention to detail and good time management skills are key to the role
- Experience with market data processing and reporting, including procedures of corporate action treatments, currency changes & common market identifiers is a plus
- An understanding of data management theories including the managing and monitoring of data from common thirdparty vendors (eg Refinitiv, Bloomberg or Factset) is a plus
- Strong computer literacy, including intermediate knowledge of the MS Office suite of products, basic database knowledge and a willingness and skill to learn new tools quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work within a team
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
